About Mission Beach

San Diego's Mission Beach is one of the most popular beaches in San Diego.  The beach is long and wide with plenty of room for the entire family to comfortably set up and spend the day.  There is a long boardwalk that is popular for bicycling, jogging, walking and skateboarding.  Beach games such as volleyball are popular.  There is also San Diego's famous Belmont Park which has one of the oldest wood roller coasters in the United States.
