About the Presidente Cancun Resort

The beautiful Presidente Cancun Resort is located in the heart of Cancun's famous hotel zone and sits right on a beautiful private white sand beach.  The orientation of this resort is slightly different from many of the hotel zone resorts and hotels because it faces north towards Isla Mujeres and waters are much more protected from the surf and wind.

The majority of rooms in the Presidente Cancun Resort are in the range of 650 to 700 square feet and are available with either a single king bed to two queen beds.  Some have views of the lagoon and others of the Caribbean.  The King Signature Suite Ocean Front is 1658 sq ft and has a large living room, terrace with dining room.  The King Coral Presidential Suite is 2153 sq ft and has an in room jacuzzi, living room, dining room, kitchen and large covered terrace.

The Resort has three on site restaurants, 2 outdoor pools and 5 hot tubs.  It has a fitness center, spa, and if you want to golf, there is a local course just a few minutes away.  This resort is also easy to get to and is less than 10 miles from the international airport and just a few miles from downtown Cancun.

The Cancun hotel zone is a peninsula starting from just east of the international airport and stretching about 10 miles to the north and then 3 or 4 miles westward back towards downtown Cancun. This area has more than 100 beautiful resorts and hotels all lining the stunning white sand beaches with the warm turquoise Caribbean water. The peninsula creates a lagoon between the Caribbean and the mainland that separates the hotel zone from the rest of the city. High end shopping malls lines the streets between the resorts. Just off shore, and about a 20 minute ferry ride to the north is Isla Mujeres, a beautiful island that is perfect for day trips.

Cancun's hotel zone also has some great restaurants that are outside of the resort but very close. In addition there are some fun day trips where you can visit the Mayan Ruins and the adventure/water parks of Xel-ha, Xplor, Xcaret, Xavage, Xibalba and Xenses, to name just a few that are all located about 60-90 minutes south of the hotel zone.
