The vegetation is lush and green during these months.

Playa Flamingo is about one hour from Liberia International Airport (LIR), which has many direct flights from the US, Canada, and Europe. It is about 4-5 hours from San Jose International Airport (SJO). Many visitors rent a car, but shuttle buses and private transfers are also available. Taxis are readily available in town for getting around.
