About the Krystal Cancun

The Krystal Cancun is an all inclusive resort and spa with 502 rooms, most of which have balconies and views of the Caribbean.  The all inclusive feature is optional.  Four different types of rooms are offered, 1) the Standard, 344 sq ft, that accommodates up to 4 people (3 adults), 2) the Deluxe Ocean View, 344 sq ft, with balcony, 3) the Club Krystal, 366 sq ft, with balcony and 4) the Family Suite with balcony, refrigerator, microwave and minibar, 431 sq ft.

The Krystal Cancun is located across the street from the convention center and has a large pool with a spectacular view of the Caribbean and its white sand beach.

It also has 4 restaurants, 1) The Aquarium Cafe that serves local and international dishes, 2) Hacienda El Mortero, traditional Mexican food, 3) Las Velas, Italian Cuisine and 4) the Fisheria, specializing in ceviche and fish tacos.

The Cancun hotel zone is a peninsula starting from just east of the international airport and stretching about 10 miles to the north and then 3 or 4 miles westward back towards downtown Cancun. This area has more than 100 beautiful resorts and hotels all lining the stunning white sand beaches with the warm turquoise Caribbean water. The peninsula creates a lagoon between the Caribbean and the mainland that separates the hotel zone from the rest of the city. High end shopping malls lines the streets between the resorts. Just off shore, and about a 20 minute ferry ride to the north is Isla Mujeres, a beautiful island that is perfect for day trips.

Cancun's hotel zone also has some great restaurants that are outside of the resort but very close. In addition there are some fun day trips where you can visit the Mayan Ruins and the adventure/water parks of Xel-ha, Xplor, Xcaret, Xavage, Xibalba and Xenses, to name just a few that are all located about 60-90 minutes south of the hotel zone.
